Accessibility Statement.
Vectra Sourcing LLC is committed to making vectrasourcing.app usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology. This statement describes how we approach accessibility, what's built in, what's known to be imperfect, and how to reach us if something doesn't work for you.
Our target
We design and build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA wherever practical. We test against:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA
- Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act
- Google Lighthouse accessibility audit (currently scoring 98+)
What's built in
The site has been built with the following accessibility features:
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
<nav>,<main>,<footer>) so screen readers can navigate by region. - Skip-to-content link (visible on keyboard focus) so users don't have to tab through the entire navigation on every page.
- Visible focus rings via
:focus-visibleon every interactive element. Keyboard users see exactly where they are; mouse users don't get distracting outlines. - ARIA labels on icon-only buttons (e.g. the mobile menu toggle), and
aria-hiddenon purely decorative SVGs and elements so they don't pollute screen reader output. - Color contrast meeting WCAG AA across all body text and interactive elements.
- Reduced-motion support: if your operating system requests reduced motion (System Settings → Accessibility on macOS, similar on Windows/iOS/Android), site animations — fade-ins, the headline rise effect, the marquee scroll, the cursor glow — are minimized or disabled.
- Associated form labels on every input, with placeholder text used as a hint rather than the only label.
- Mobile nav toggle uses
aria-expandedto communicate open/closed state to assistive technology. - Responsive design tested across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports, with touch targets sized for finger input.
- Decorative imagery (the hero accent blob, the cursor-follow glow) is hidden from assistive technology via
aria-hidden.
Known limitations
We try to be honest about where the site falls short:
- The category marquee on the homepage scrolls horizontally on a continuous loop. We disable it entirely for users who request reduced motion. If the constant motion is still distracting, enable reduced motion in your OS — it's site-wide.
- The hero text rise animation is decorative. Disabled for reduced-motion users.
- JavaScript dependency: the contact form and mobile nav toggle require JavaScript. Without JS, the form won't submit; users can email us directly at info@vectrasourcing.app instead.
- Session replay: Microsoft Clarity records anonymized interaction patterns (mouse movements, clicks, scrolls) for our analytics. Sensitive form fields are masked. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure and opt-out details.
Third-party content
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for site analytics, and Formspree for delivering contact form submissions. We do not control these vendors' accessibility, but we monitor for issues and route around them where we can.
Need help, or found a problem?
Accessibility is treated as a bug, not a nice-to-have. If you encounter an issue or need accommodation, email info@vectrasourcing.app. We aim to respond within five business days. Please include:
- The page URL or feature you were using
- What happened, and what you expected to happen
- Your assistive technology and browser, if relevant
We don't require a particular format or phrasing — plain words are fine. We'll acknowledge receipt, investigate, and reply with what we found and what we plan to do.
Continuous improvement
This statement is a living document. We test major site changes with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA on Windows). When we find or are told about an issue, we treat it as a defect and prioritize the fix.
